Office & Business Manager

Abuja · Nigeria · On-site · Full-time

Run the Abuja office and keep the business operating: office and facilities management, administration, people-ops support, and vendor, procurement, and finance coordination—the operational backbone that lets the product and marketing teams focus on getting products to market.

What you will do

  • Run day-to-day operations of the Abuja office: facilities, supplies, vendors, and a productive, professional workplace
  • Own administration and business operations—scheduling, correspondence, records, travel, and event logistics
  • Coordinate people operations: onboarding logistics, staff records, leave tracking, and support for recruiting and the internship program
  • Manage vendors, procurement, and service contracts; track budgets and keep operating costs in check
  • Support finance operations—invoices, expenses, petty cash, and documentation—working with accounting and leadership
  • Keep the company organized on local registrations, licenses, and basic HR/statutory paperwork
  • Act as the operational point of contact across marketing, delivery, and leadership so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Improve internal processes, tools, and documentation as the team scales

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in office management, business/operations administration, or an operations-heavy coordinator role
  • Proven ability to run an office and juggle facilities, admin, vendors, and people logistics at once
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and discretion with confidential information
  • Comfortable with budgets, invoices, and basic bookkeeping/financial tracking
  • Proficiency with office and productivity tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, documents)
  • Excellent written and spoken English and a professional, service-minded approach
  • Based in or able to work on-site in Abuja

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting HR/people operations or recruiting coordination
  • Familiarity with Nigerian business registration, tax, and statutory compliance basics
  • Experience in a startup, agency, or fast-scaling small business
  • Bookkeeping or accounting-software exposure (e.g. QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
